Born and raised in northern Illinois, Peggy went to Colorado State University, lived in a number of Southern states and traveled across the world.  Home on the family farm in Illinois, rural landscapes are still closest to her heart, especially as they are disappearing with frightening speed.  Starting out with pencil and ink, once she tried watercolor there was no going back!  Peggy's latest project is a series of the historic farms of Kendall County to benefit farmland preservation efforts there.
